Community Development and Capacity Building: To relieve poverty in rural Kenya by offering training and assistance to start or improve small businesses and entrepreneurial initiatives[Micro-finance - building products from agricultural waste- small business training] |

| Project 1: Job Training -Send young people and breadwinners to learn skills and trades.$100 trains someone to learn tailoring. $200 trains someone to be a commercial truck driver. |

| Project 2: Business training and adult literacy - Provide basic business training and simple bookkeeping for women. $200 will provide a seminar and follow-up for 40 women. |

| Project 3: Improved farming and small business
set up - Teach individuals or groups about better farming methods, rabbit keeping, fish farming and raising poultry or goats. $20 will help build a hutch and buy rabbits. We have set up a library of farming and livestock manuals written for Africa in simple English. |

| Project 4: Clean water $2,500 will provide a simple community well. $500-$700 will protect a spring to serve about 400 people a day. |

| Project 5: Schools -Supply computers and reading books to High Schools and to Elementary Schools to improve English, Math and Thinking Skills. One computer can be purchased in Kenya for $150. |

| Project 6: Virtues Project - Teach the Virtues Project in schools and communities. $200 provides a training session for a group of teachers or a community to eliminate use of the cane, train children for leadership as Peace Makers and create structures for cooperation, peace and harmony.
